Energy Assistance Program

Program that helps households pay their energy bill once a year.  Targeted for low-income households with high-energy costs.

The SOUPER CENTER provides free hot lunches seven days a week, 365 days a year from 11:30am-12:45pm for anyone that is hungry and/or homeless.  The Resource Center provides comprehensive case management, training and treatment programs on-site and off-site referrals to partner agencies.  The Resource Center also provides free clothing daily as available, free showers, laundry, phone, mailing address, job and housing assistance to homeless individuals and families.  The Family Housing Program provides 75 beds of emergency shelter and transitional housing assistance to homeless families year round, as well as case management, wraparound supportive services and individualized programs helping families transition to self-sufficiency.  Our Permanent Housing Program provides housing for eight chronically homeless, dual0diagnosed individuals and teaches them how to live independently with continuous support from the Resource Center.  All services and program information is provided in English and Spanish.  For more information on all our programs and services, please call Toni Lawrence at (510) 233-2141 EXT 303.

case management and employment counseling, training and housing.  Rent is 30%

of eligible income.  Emergency shelter for families in Martinez and North Concord.
