Planned giving provides 4 ways for supporters to share their legacy and ensure that contributions are used towards preventing child abuse and neglect over the long term in Contra Costa County.

  • Make a Bequest – Have your attorney review the following clause and include it in your will to give a specific amount: “I give and bequeath the Child Abuse Prevention Council of Contra Costa County (tax identification number 68-0046163), located in Concord, Ca, the sum of ______________________________ dollars $_______________________.
  • Name the Child Abuse Prevention Council of Contra Costa County as a beneficiary of your retirement plan.
  • Name the Child Abuse Prevention Council of Contra Costa County as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy.
  • Create a charitable remainder trust. Contribute cash, stocks or real estate to a charitable trust and receive an immediate income tax deduction, a tax-free bypass of capital gains and income for life.
