Any child between the ages of 6-16 living in one of our five county service areas (Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties) can enroll in one of our mentoring programs. Once matched, children can remain in the program through the age of 18 or until they graduate from High School, whichever comes later. Enrolled children must want to be matched with a Big Brother or Big Sister. We will not enroll a child based solely on the wishes of a parent or guardian. Every enrolled Parent/Child must agree to participate in periodically issued surveys to rate your match experience. These surveys are critical to our agency’s ability to raise funds and help us to provide services free of charge to enrolled families.
