ARM stands for Art, Recreation and Movement. ARM of Care provides trauma-informed Creative Art Therapy programs to help restore and empower children, youth and young adults who have been commercially sexually exploited or are at risk of being exploited. We partner with agencies throughout Northern California who serve these populations to provide ongoing specially designed creative arts programs. ARM of Care also provides trauma informed trainings to staff and the public. Hours of services: By Appointment.

Cost of services: Program fees range and dependent upon type of creative arts program, length of program, location, and number of participants. Speaking/presenting fee is $100 per hour with a minimum of 1 hour.
Ages served: Youth and young adults as well as staff for those who work with the clients.

A safe place for young Southeast Asian women, that promotes education, community, and leadership development to foster cultural pride, and self-determination for women at-risk of or engaged in sexual exploitation. Services include advocacy, case management, and prevention education. The agency also provides prevention education on the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of children to the community.

Qualifications: We only work with human and social services agencies and not directly with families. Cake4Kids is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides free, custom birthday cakes to underserved children through partnerships developed with social and human services agencies – homeless children in shelters, children who are victims of domestic violence or human trafficking, children in foster care, and youth living at the poverty level. Community Violence Solutions is a collaborating partner in the countywide Anti-Trafficking project. Victims of sexual and/or labor trafficking may receive crisis intervention, counseling, comprehensive case management, advocacy, and accompanying services. Community Violence Solutions operates two Drop-In Centers for individuals under the age of 24 who have experienced Commercial Sexual Exploitation. CVS also conducts training for law enforcement and Service Providers and provides community presentations free of charge to bring awareness about the important issue of Human Trafficking.

Provides sanctuary and support for youth ages 18-24 facing homelessness and human trafficking. Two locations in the Bay Area; Oakland and Berkeley. Programs and services are designed to advance physical, emotional, educational, vocational, and spiritual well-being, and provide the best chance for success in independence. All programs and services are free of charge. In Oakland, the emergency shelter immediately provides for basic needs and urgent medical care. People receive a nutritious meal, take a shower with new personal care products, receive new clothes, and sleep in a warm, safe bed. They are then connected to supportive services that will help them thrive.

We offer support to the LGBTQIA+ community from 12 to 100 years old. Our youth program provides emotional support, guidance, case management, peer support and education for those between 12 and 23 years old.
