Monument Crisis Center serves low-income families and individuals in Contra Costa County by providing nutritious food, education, general assistance, and referrals. Food distribution program: Pittsburg – 1st & 3rd Thursdays of month 12pm -2pm Concord – MWF 9am-12pm. There is no charge for our services. Offers a thirty-bed emergency family shelter. All of these services are free. Provides substance abuse prevention referral services.   • DONATION FURNITURE PROGRAM
    Quality furniture and household item donations are picked up and delivered to those in need by a dedicated team of volunteer drivers.
  • LINEN PROGRAM
    Donations of clean and gently used sheets, blankets, comforters, etc. are given to families in need. Our member churches will have occasional “linen drives” to support this program.
  • 4TH WEEK FOOD PROGRAM
    Qualified families can receive food gift cards when they need assistance in meeting their food needs at the end of the month. The families in this program receive assistance for a limited time until the family can support themselves.
  • EMERGENCY FOOD PROGRAM
  • CCIC member churches supply boxes of food to assist a family in food crisis. These food boxes are kept in the vehicles of county social service workers and are available to their clients when a visit determines an emergency need.
  • KITCHEN STARTER KITS
    Basic cooking supplies, dishes, and utensils are provided based on family size for those transitioning from homelessness to permanent housing.
  • CLEANING STARTER KITS
    Basic cleaning supplies are provided based on need especially those transitioning from homelessness to permanent housing.
